There are different pieces of documentation depending on how FMDB is to be used.

As FMDB is part of the ITAPS Project, FMDB is an implementation of the ITAPS iMesh, iGeom, and iRel interfaces.

There is also Doxygen generated documentation that is available when getting FMDB. It is generated with the configure script using "--enable-doxygen" flag. To get the most up-to-date version of the Doxygen documentation it is best to get it from the most up-to-date version of FMDB at the GForge project page. The Doxygen documentation is available online but may be outdated.
